Selfish Hope

(This project is a submission for Nikko's " Love + Attraction" GameJam. Project is marked NSFW purely just for nudity and suggestive behavior.)

Life in a wolf tribe hasn't been kind some folk within it. Separated from the rest of the world in an ancient forest, two healers of this tribe find themselves at odds with the rest of the tribe. Marx, a human druid who discovered the tribe and offered help due to the tribe's lack of medical practices. Despite the help he offers, he's seen as an outsider along with other person named, Aster. A wolf with white fur that was outcasted for his brith being the result for the death of his mother, and for the color of his fur. Aster has found apprenticeship under Marx at his arrival and the two have found comfort with each other despite the hostile environment. Despite his role and duties of a healer, Marx finds the treatment of him and Aster too much to bare, and ask if a selfish desire justifies potentially risking the tribe's safety.

Side-note: The android will look a bit weird when saving and loading. I tried to fix it, but that resulted in both the phone and pc versions of the save/load screens moving. I'm still learning Ren'py so I'm sorry about the inconvenience

(I'm still a novice when it comes to making VNs and drawing art. This was a huge project for me and my friend to do, since I'm still learning Ren'py and improving my writing, while my friend never drew for something this big. Give a thanks to Skribble2Life(Ant) for helping me with the CG scenes. He's an amazing artist.)
